CONTROLS TECHNICIAN

Associated Well Services is hiring a Controls Technician Team Member in Stephenville and Decatur. Full-time, on-site, field work.
You will help build, wire, troubleshoot, and support control panels and automated systems used in water well and pump operations for residential, commercial, and municipal customers.
The work is detailed. The standards are high. If you take pride in doing it right, there’s real opportunity to grow.
WHAT YOU'LL DO

Assist with building, wiring, and assembling control panels and related components
• Help install, label, organize, and test electrical and control system components
• Support troubleshooting of panels, controls, and automation-related equipment under supervision
• Read and follow schematics, diagrams, and technical instructions carefully
• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work area
• Communicate progress, issues, and material needs clearly to your team leader
• Develop controls, panel-building, and troubleshooting skills through hands-on training

• Organized - your materials, tools, wiring, and documentation stay tight
• Comfortable reading diagrams, schematics, or technical instructions
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
• Must be 21+ (company vehicle insurance requirement)
Previous experience with panel wiring, controls, electrical work, automation, or SCADA systems is a plus.
Water well experience is not required - strong work ethic, attention to detail, and willingness to learn are required.
