CONSTRUCTION ASSISTANT

Associated Well Services is opening its second location in Decatur, and we're looking for qualified team members.
You'll work alongside experienced construction, controls, plumbing, and water infrastructure professionals helping build the systems that keep water flowing for residential, commercial, agricultural, and municipal customers. Projects may include well houses, water treatment facilities, pump stations, storage tank buildings, concrete foundations, underground piping, automation systems, and related infrastructure.
The work is technical. The standards are high. If you put in the effort, there's a real path to advance - and being part of a new location from the start puts you closer to the front of that line.
WHAT YOU'LL DO

Assist with the construction of well houses, pump stations, and water system infrastructure
• Support site preparation, excavation, grading, and material staging
• Assist with concrete formwork, slab preparation, and concrete placement
• Help install plumbing, piping, valves, pumps, and related water system components
• Assist with the installation of water treatment equipment and storage systems
• Support electrical, controls, and automation installation under supervision
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment safely
• Maintain clean, organized, and professional job sites
• Communicate progress, issues, and obstacles to project leaders
• Develop construction and infrastructure skills through hands-on training

To prepare you to join the Decatur branch, this role includes a minimum four-week onboarding period in Stephenville. During that time, you will learn directly from our team, gain a working understanding of our operations, and be fully immersed in the culture and standards that have made Associated Well Services successful for nearly five decades.
Lodging during this training period will be covered by the company.
