Associated Well Services is hiring a Safety Officer in Stephenville. Full-time, on-site, field work.

You will help lead and support safety efforts across our operations by conducting site visits, reinforcing safe work practices, tracking compliance, supporting training, and helping ensure our teams are equipped to work safely and responsibly every day.

 

The work matters. The standard is high. This role is for someone who is observant, consistent, and committed to helping protect both people and the way we work.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Support field safety by conducting site visits, observations, inspections, and audits

  • Help ensure compliance with OSHA, MSHA, DOT, and company safety requirements

  • Investigate incidents, near misses, and safety concerns and document findings clearly

  • Lead or support safety meetings, trainings, and ongoing communication around safe work practices

  • Maintain safety records, certifications, reports, and compliance documentation

  • Work with field teams and leadership to identify hazards, reduce risk, and improve safety habits

  • Help strengthen a culture of accountability, readiness, and doing things right

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • OSHA 10, OSHA 30, CPR/First Aid, or similar credentials necessary for this role.

  • Safety-minded - safety, compliance, or field operations experience in construction, service, industrial, or similar environments

  • Certified - Actual experience leading safety meetings or delivering training, and familiarity with OSHA, DOT, MSHA, and general workplace safety practices.

  • Professional in the field - you communicate well with team members, leaders, and customers and represent the company with credibility

  • Organized - your reports, records, training documentation, and follow-up actions stay tight

  • Confident and observant - you can identify hazards, address concerns directly, and support accountability without backing down

  • Strong communicator - you can clearly document issues, explain expectations, and help others understand what safe work looks like

  • Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record

  • Must be 21+ (company vehicle insurance requirement)

Previous experience in Construction, utility, drilling, or water services industry experience is a plus. Water well experience not required - right attitude and work ethic are required.
