BRANCH
LEAD

Decatur, TX
Full-Time

Associated Well Services is opening its second location in Decatur. We need the person to lead it.

The crew, the yard, the inventory, the customer experience, the standard: all of it is yours. You'll report to leadership in Stephenville, but the day-to-day operation belongs to you. Real autonomy. Real authority. Real accountability.

The playbook already exists. Stephenville has been operating by that standard since 1976. Your job is to carry our mission into a new location, bring our vision to life through a new team, and maintain the standard so customers in Decatur receive the same trusted experience Central Texas customers have counted on for five decades.

This isn't a crew lead role with a better title. If you've been waiting for a company that gives you ownership instead of just responsibility, this is it.

To prepare you to lead the Decatur branch well, this role includes a minimum four-week onboarding period in Stephenville. During that time, you will learn directly from our team, gain a working understanding of our operations, and be fully immersed in the culture and standards that have made Associated Well Services successful for nearly five decades. Lodging during this training period will be covered by the company.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Lead and develop the crew working out of the Decatur facility with one-on-ones, performance conversations, and team accountability

  • Own the customer experience for every job that touches Decatur: response time, follow-through, resolution

  • Communicate daily with leadership on status, challenges, and decisions that need escalation

  • Manage facility operations like equipment maintenance, downtime prevention, and cost control

  • Manage inventory so the crew never waits on materials and the company never bleeds on overstock

  • Coordinate with suppliers to keep materials available without tying up excess capital

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • A leader who has experience leading people and building teams, not just managing tasks

  • Someone who is operationally sharp and can identify inefficiencies, gaps, and risks before they become problems

  • Strong communicator who keeps leadership informed without being told to

  • Customer-facing instincts, meaning you understand that every interaction is the company's reputation

  • Comfortable with accountability - this role has real ownership and real visibility

Experience managing a facility, yard, or field operation preferred. Industry experience in well services, utilities, or trades is a plus but not required. The standard matters more than the resume.
